Decor Trend - Leather Accents

I've noticed that leather is being reinvented to add an earthy edge in home décor. Leather accents are increasingly popular on lighting, edging on cushions and even mirrors.  Leather has always been a popular upholstery choice for sofas and chairs – it’s versatile, low maintenance, classic, adds texture and provides a great base for layering cushions and throws.  Better still leather improves with age as imperfections and signs of use signal homeliness and comfort.  Many of our cushions are finished with a tan leather trim adding a contemporary yet earthy finish that marries perfectly alongside linen.  When selecting cushions from our on line store a drop down menu will give you the option of adding a leather trim.     9 April 2015

Shades of Grey trending in 2015

Hitting the mark for home interiors in 2015 is the reliable all seasons neutral grey. An interior styling staple from season to season grey is on trend in variations of smoke, nearly black, marble and charcoal.   We have a number of new shades of grey and designs coming out in time for winter 15.  Create different looks in your home by playing around with strong warmer colours and adding textures like chunky knits & faux fur in cooler months.   In summer freshen up the look & compliment greys with soft linens & pastels for a calm relaxed feel.                     2 February 2015
